About Kelley Albert

I enjoy creating all types of art with a bent on the abstract. It’s the tools I use that vary—a camera, an ipad, a paint brush or fabric cutter. I am most interested in using these tools to create various textures, patterns, colors, and/or combinations of them. The possibilities are endless, keeping me curious, challenged and engaged in the process.

Education

Fine Art Degree in Graphic Design from Carnegie Mellon University

I’d like to think that I am just starting out, but I’ve been practicing my craft for quite some time. I bought a B&W darkroom with money from a summer job that I set up in my childhood home; was introduced to graphic design in high school and that set me off on a path in the commercial arts; I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. I’ve made my living as a designer ever since (www.kelleyalbertdesign.com). But fine art has always held a special place in my heart.
