Kelly Athanasiadou

I was born in Athens- Greece.
I focus actively on arts, choosing sculpture as a main means of expression.
The materials I use come from the industrial recycling, with special interest in metals and in particular steel.
Using techniques such as oxyacetylene welding and electric welding , as well as materials with natural limitations and endurance which need harsh treatment, I shape ideas and themes of personal inspirations, making clear in this way that all industrial materials can comprise a part of a whole with concrete structure, without loosing their traits.
