Kemlyn Tan Bappe

Kemlyn Tan Bappe a native of Singapore (born 1969). Kem is a working artist in Des Moines, Iowa where she resides where her husband, Ed and their three children. Kem exhibits and fulfills commissions internationally.

My faith is an integral part of my work. I desire to reflect the beauty of God's creation. I study the simplicity found in a tomato. I am awed by the splashes of color in a desert sunset. I try to see the "imago dei" or "image of God" in each person. I hope to capture a little essence of the Divine in each piece art I create.
