Mackenzie Erickson

Mackenzie Erickson, better known as Kenzie Cake, is a Tampa, FL-based artist creating bold, vibrant works with a healthy dose of attitude. Known for her iconic, female-centric Pop Art, Erickson strives to link the concept of identity with vibrant color and exciting brushstrokes. Through her art, Erickson hopes to create visually stimulating works that feature an array of characters that explore and draw awareness to identity and the self.
While her work speaks to pop culture, it goes beyond the surface to ask the bigger questions about how women are portrayed and treated in society. In her pursuit of visual expression, Mackenzie Erickson’s paintings are a celebration of modern women and offer a refreshing perspective on their place in the world.
