Kristina Kirilina

Kirilina Kristina was born in Crimea, Ukraine.
Kristina paints with oil and tempera makes mosaics and art installations. Since 2012 she began to take part in exhibitions and art competitions. After graduating in 2015, Kristina left Russia and now travels the world. Lived in Ukraine, China and Philippines
In her works Kristina creates a mystical world where certainty is tightly tangled with myth. This looks like a game with decorative forms and painting.
“Asia- Harmony of contrasts.”
“In my last series of works “Asia- harmony of contrasts” my goal was to integrate a clear structure and decorative composition intro transparent picturesque backgrounds. Asia is rich in its contradictions. A sharp contrast: modernity and antiquity, creation and silence with the noise of anthill cities, the reigning chaos of modernity. All this is a vivid representation of the turnover and the endless cycle of our life, as a result generates harmony. I’m looking for the subject in its totality, see connection between big picture and details.I am enjoying this art journey.”

Graduated from Moscow State Academy of Art and Industry named after S.G. Stroganov. Monumental and easel painting. Moscow, Russia.
