Dejan Bozinovski was born in Kumanovo, Macedonia in 1984. His work is held in private and public collections in the Balkan countries, including museums, galleries and libraries. Also he has donated arts to charities.
His artistic journey started at an early age, he was noticed as a one of Europe's promising young talents while participating in the "Small Monmartre of Bitola" - Colony Of Fine Arts. Afterwards, his achievements on the Faculty of Fine Arts were extremely high, about which he got a significant recognition from his professor and supervisor - Jovan Shumkoski.
Critics have described his work as having "a strong personality" which "translates his motif of choice into pictorial language that demonstrates a quietly modern eloquence". He is perhaps more generally committed to the motif and the kind of forming which develops the motif into a painting full of all the joys of abstraction, but in place in a figure composition.
