Katharine T Faison

I am an oil painter, currently mainly working on commissioned pieces. These two displayed on Saatchi Art are the flip sides of the same canvas. The idea being that the owner can look at the side that feels right for today. Any objects placed on top of the painting when it is being used as a table mat will make the painted objects pop into a three-dimensional illusion.

I received my BA from Hamilton College in upstate NY, after gaining my qualifications at Kirkland 1975-79. I worked for three years in small businesses before beginning my full-time art career in 1982.

I have participated in various group and solo exhibitions at Ritchies Fine Art, The McDougall Art Gallery, and then primarily at The Space Gallery. More recently at CoCA the Centre of Contemporary Art, and Linwood Arts. My paintings are in private and public collections, primarily in NYC, USA and Christchurch, NZ.
