Kumiko Kanamoto

I’m a painter originally from Gifu, currently living in Toyama, Japan.
My interest is in emotions such as pleasure, delight and thrill that I feel when something attractive comes into my sight momentarily and accidentally.
Even though it’s a brief moment and disappears from my sight, the emotions remain in memory accompanying afterimage.
I try to represent these emotions and moments in my artworks with light colors and strokes, leaving white space.
