Karina Figueroa

I create art because it is the only process where my truest self can be expressed. My paintings are an exploration of my perceptions: those known and unknown. Through the process of painting, I learn more about the universe and my place within it. For me, painting is a meditative and intuitive experience. When applying paint to canvas, I am completely immersed in the action, and relieved from the constraints of daily tribulations.
