La Musica (aka Ricardo Suazo) (he / they) is a poly-disciplinary queer artist, designer and thinker based in London. Working across Painting, Music and Performance, their practice explores the intersection of their racial, social and queer identities.
A graduate from the Royal College of Arts, their visual work fuses elements from queer nightlife, their background as a fashion designer and their travels around the world. The result is an electrifying body of work that evokes a sense of nostalgia whilst feeling current, vibrant, honest and fun.
