Lana Kova

Lana Kova was born in Dnepropetrovsk. She grew up in a small town next to Murmansk, Russia. Studied economics in St Petersburg State University of IT, Mechanics and Optics. Self-taught in arts. Currently lives and works in Paris.
"My art experience started with abstraction I tried to create esthetically balanced images, reinvent and reconstruct geometric forms, create illusions and duality. Most of my universe paintings are deeply philosophical for me cause in my spheres I see an ego, a person. Now I experiment with many different media and I do figurative paintings as well. I try to transmit sensuality tactile feelings in my watercolors as well as make people dream of exotic insects flowers and reachable dream horizons. In my figurative work I try to reconstruct human body."

Selftaught in arts, masters in economics, musical education - violin.
