Laraine Astarita

My name is Laraine Astarita originally from Brooklyn New York but currently residing in Oxford, Florida. I am a self taught artist that loves working in many mediums. Currently a favorite is mixed media. I love creating paintings with great texture, subtle to vibrant colors. Abstract, surreal to traditional portraits. I simply enjoy creating my works and I hope everyone else enjoys them too.

I have an Associate in Science Degree from Florida Hospital College of Health Science. Art I have studied on my own, pencil drawings for many years and then painting in 2000.
