Larisa Chiga

I am a Russian artist Larisa Chigirina. Completely self-taught and independent young artist, whose works are in private collections in the USA, Europe and Russia.

Here you will find my unique oil and acrylic paintings. The palette knife, allow me to stay loose, merging colors and sculpting wet paint into a dynamic final product. The surfaces of my paintings are very tactile, sometimes resembling a mosaic of palette knife strokes. No two of my oil paintings are alike. Each one is painted from my heart with love and soul.

I love color as a means of expression of emotions.

The main themes of my work are abstractions, landscapes, portraits of girls and flowers.
