I Now live in the Cotswolds after residing in London for the past fifteen years. My student years were spent at the University Of Wales Institute; Cardiff during 1994 - 1997. This was at the height of the clubbing scene, and to sum it up, the hedonistic film 'Human Traffic' was shot in the college bar at Howard Gardens.

My early work reflected an ongoing study concerning dance, movement and club culture. It focused on the early eighties illegal raves, to the nineties indoor club scenes. It captured the essence of this time and emulated the feeling of euphoria that was felt. There was a togetherness during this period; a scene!

These paintings were created by distorting the interiors of clubs and augmenting them to create a background for the moving figure. The female form was partially painted to convey the energy expressed through dance.
