Lauren Beresford

Scottish Painter. Throughout her time at College, her focus was an Modern style of work inspired by Pop Art, Architecture and Abstraction.

Lauren paints landscapes in Scotland and around the world like America, Canada, Australia and Spain and portrait commissions. Paintings are full of colour, personality and energy. Lauren embraces the essence and simplicity of 'The Everyday' in her work and shares this vision with others.

She works from photographs and sketches in the studio getting an idea of detail, texture and emotion. Lauren has a deep connection with music whilst she works which also inspires her way of thinking and working.

Graduated in July 2016 in Painting BA (Hons) from Edinburgh College of Art, Scotland, UK.
