Yan Yan

Yan Yan，a Sydney-based artist and a graduate of the University of Sydney with a Master degree in Contemporary Art and Sculpture. Her work explores the bond between life and pets, using expressive brushstrokes and vibrant colors to convey warmth and emotional healing, evoking joy and comfort in viewers. Influenced by Australian Indigenous decorative art, her creations incorporate unique lines, patterns, and natural elements, adding cultural depth and visual rhythm to her work. As a mother of a child with autism, Yan Yan infuses her art with a distinctive sensitivity, reflecting her deep understanding of companionship and resilience. She hopes her work inspires others to find beauty and joy in life’s connections.
