LEO GILARDI born in 1987 in Turin / lives and works in Turin

My artistic research investigates the connections between social and natural, artificial and emotional. As in reconstructing the nature of an organism , whose coherence is mutable, and subduable to its parts, in the same way it succeeds in revolutionizing itself.

These four principal factors debate among themselves, and not necessarily in the search of a balance.

My work consists in the creation of connections among the different parts, in order to increase our conscience with the purpose to improve the dialogue, making the debate positive and permeable, in the understanding we are part of a whole.

La mia ricerca artistica approfondisce le connessioni tra sociale e naturale, tra artificiale ed emotivo. Come nel ricostruire la natura di un organismo la cui coerenza è mutevole, ed assoggettabile a parti di se, allo stesso modo in cui riesce a rivoluzionarsi.

Questi quattro fattori che considero principali dibattono, e non necessariamente nella ricerca di una sintonia.
