Artist Bio


Influenced by Miro’, Picasso, Debuffet, Basquiat.
His paintings are spontaneously fresh, intuitive and original, reflecting the nature of mankind modern life and his senses. His work express unique influential qualities with an experimental continuity approach. On studio practice he is comfortable with the “Unintentional~ Direct approach”, with passion and perseverance to investigate the unknown. Through intuitive visions of characters and creatures his art work reveals to us esthetic substance.

He studied in his native Torino (Italy) and moved in the United States in 1984. He has lived and made art in Seattle since 1986. His paintings are collected in many homes, in Seattle, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Sun Valley, Los Angeles. His work was included in important exhibitions in
France and Sweden.

ARTIST STATEMENT

My art is always intended as a poetical ephemeral navigation of my senses. using color to express the conducive energy of my characters and creatures from my visual experiences. I enjoy to deconstruct the esthetic form.
The fluid properties of the paint reveals to me a glimpse of a shape or a feel of a form that I can capture and let arise with my intuitive creation of my unintentional painterly carving compositions.
I”m comfortable to explore in my practice with an “Unintentional Direct approach” and with passion, love and perseverance to investigate the unknown.
Through visionary intuition, my characters and creatures reveal themselves with an ambiguous sense of happiness.
