Leonidas Dimakopoulos

My name is Leonidas Dimakopoulos. I live in Athens, Greece. I am a qualified professional photographer. During my 25-year career, I have collaborated with numerous Greek and European publications, including wide-circulation newspapers and magazines ("Eleftherotipia" daily newspaper and Sunday edition, "Difono" music magazine, "Vima Donna", "V Men", "Gynaika" women's magazine, "Efoplistis" shipowners' publication, "Odyssey" travel magazine etc.).
My professional experience covers a wide range of styles and services including portraiture, assignments in special events, advertising, fashion, architectural and artistic photography.
Since 2009 I have been the co-founder of the Institute of Contemporary Greek Art (Iset), where I am responsible for the department of photography and video art. My duties also include the organization and implementation of art workshops, lectures and events.
I have held five solo exhibitions.
I am a member of the Greek Chamber of Fine Arts.
