Leonor Hochschild

I am a Mexican artist. My artistic practice is based on the study of matter and its behavior. In my plastic and conceptual language, materials acquire relevance for being the bridge of meaning between the ethereal and the intangible; between the spiritual and the material world. Thus, I allow myself to create in different formats, such as installation, sculpture and painting.

I have specialized studies in painting at the Llotja School of Applied Arts in Barcelona and in mixed techniques with the artist Víctor Ceprián Cortés in Madrid. I have studied drawing with master Aceves Navarro in CDMX and at the School of Arts and Crafts in Barcelona. In addition, I have training in advertising design and a diploma in artistic illustration at the Claustro de Sor Juana in CDMX.
