Lily Lambert

Born in Santa Monica,California, and shaped by a life spent between Los Angeles and Princeton, New Jersey, Lily Lambert is a self taught painter whose work is rooted in family, and a lifelong connection to the natural world. Raised among an expressive family of artists, decorators, actors, and inventors, creativity was not only encouraged from an early age- it was a way of life.
Working across acrylic, watercolor, resin, and oil, her paintings are guided by an intuitive sensitivity to color, shape, and form, often inspired by the quiet rhythms and textures of nature. Encouraged early on to find, and trust her own voice, she never pursued formal training, instead embraced her mother and aunts philosophy to 'let LIFE be your art school".

Alongside this, her lifelong exposure to the Old Masters through her
Aunt Bunny aka " Rachel Lambert Mellon" quietly shaped her understanding of composition, light, and emotional depth.
For nearly four decades, she has created and sold work to private collectors, driven by a simple yet enduring intention:
