Jessica Hendrickx

I am Jessica Hendrickx, a Dutch contemporary artist with a deep passion for creating large-scale abstract paintings.

For me, abstract art represents complete freedom. It is a space where rules dissolve, expectations fall away, and reality no longer dictates form. Within this freedom, I am able to create intuitively and without limitation, expressing emotions and ideas that cannot be contained by words. Abstraction allows me to move beyond the visible and into the experiential.

I draw inspiration from everything around me and approach life with curiosity and openness, finding beauty in both the subtle and the unexpected. As a naturally creative and exploratory spirit, I embrace experimentation as an essential part of my process. Color, movement, composition, and texture become tools for discovery, guiding me beyond familiar boundaries and into new visual territory.

My work reflects my imagination and emotional landscape. I am especially drawn to painting imagined galaxies, underwater worlds, and abstracted landscapes—spaces that feel expansive, immersive, and alive. Through these environments, I invite the viewer into a vibrant inner world shaped by intuition, energy, and feeling.
