Elizabeth Marks

Elizabeth was raised on a dairy farm in upstate New York. With abundant freedom and immersed in nature she developed a deep love of art and the intrinsic beauty of her environment. This love can be seen in her art and design.

As an artist, Elizabeth uses her hands (and or body) to apply paint onto the canvas, she is able to manipulate several layers of paint; blending, pouring and mixing all over recycled newspaper for color and texture. The entire process captures gentle curves of the body which depict the hills and valleys that we see in landscapes. The outcome is abstract artwork that evokes intrigue, serenity and ultimately one of beauty and strength.

Elizabeth's design style combines chic elements and recycled materials for understated elegant and comfortable spaces. She designs custom made items and artwork for each project based on the clients personality which instantly adds character to each space.
