Just like our memories get abstracted by time, my ideas turn into a stream of thoughts left to gather on the canvas. Layer after layer expose an assortment of dreamlike language, a personal vernacular. I react, cover, build, destroy, paint over, and reveal. The resemblances of things familiar vanish, and what remains is energy and sensations.
