Artist Statement

My works are bright bold colors and metallics interwoven into acrylic, watercolor and ink paintings. I tend to create images that usually center around women in states of daydreaming and introspective thought. They are often times looking beyond, at a world they've created or wish to create. Sometimes their eyes are closed and they are looking within, acknowledging the spirit within themselves.

I've created these images because I am a daydreamer. I wanted to bring the visions in my head to life. Each image is a representation of me. My longings, my dreams and emotions are all captured in the faces of the women I create. These are characters who all seem familiar. They are versions of my faces in different states and the faces of those who exist in my life.
