Lomaho Kretzmann was born in 1990 on the side of a mountain in Colorado. As an ill mannered child he spent more time than he would have liked sitting on the "time out" couch in his fathers art studio. Here he observed and garnered an interest for an art practice. Drawing became a primary activity. In his latest work Lomaho is trying to reflect the beautiful, menacing, and strange aspects of being, basing imagery off of visions, dreams, and memories.
Currently wrapping up a BFA degree in painting at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Lomaho is optimistic, yet terrified, about life after school. Oakland is his most desired destination, but he will most likely have a stint in Savannah as a non-student continuing to participate in gallery shows, public projects, and private commissions.
