Lord Wilmore is a belgian born multi-talented artist living now near Versailles, France.
He is graduated from the IAD of Louvain-la-neuve. (Diffusion Arts Institute)
His work for fiction cinema has been presented at the Academy Awards for Student films (Ham sandwich) or at the Settimana Internazionale della Critica di Venezia (Seven Deadly Sins). He has also directed a 52’ documentary on Buddha’s life (Being Buddha).
In the past, he has been a very successful director for commercials (awarded in Cannes and New York) and was a little prince of tv short programs in France (airing on TF1 for Nicolas Hulot’s fondation or WWF for instance).
His forthcoming agenda is heteroclite nevertheless flamboyant : a rock album « My name is Lord » (released in 2022), a documentary on driverless mobility and several exhibitions of his digital artwork.
In 2016, Lord has exhibited in Ukraine, in Corsica, in Paris and Brussels. He is now represented in China (Artbank, Nanjin).
Since a few years now, his work is haunted by this unique question : is identity a delusion ?
According to Lord Wilmore, the answers to that crucial question will lead humanity to positive evolution, … or it won’t.
