Louise Frith

Louise Frith's childhood was spent exploring the bushland of her backyard in Sydney. The bush provided an escape to other worlds where anything was possible. The love and fascination with the natural landscape continues to the present day where the artist engages with the ever intriguing landscape of the Blue Mountains and beyond.

As an oil painter, Louise connects with the Mountains landscape with her work always endeavouring to capture the experience of the bush. Line and texture take the viewer on a journey through nature, while colour and light draw out the mood of the landscape.
