About Louise Openshaw

My work embraces detailed fragments of time; images often in a sequential narrative from autobiographical and cultural memory. The eidetic nature of photography captures light and holds memory, the idea remaining constant, a particular moment in permanent form. The transience of life interests me, as time passes quickly, only memories remain.
