Lisa Prusinski

An artist who has sold work nationally in Prisma Pencil and Watercolor creates fresh, detailed, and engaging images of American chrome treasures as well as portraiture, seascape, landscape, and botanical genres. She explores the complex relationships of shape and color to form dynamic works of art. Her unique sensuous use of color and implied texture are a reflection of her fondness of classical realism, with her own dynamic twist of hyper realism. She creates series work based on her travels along with small drawings and paintings of animals and botanicals found at her favorite local garden spaces.

Lisa is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and attended Kendall College of Art & Design, where she achieved her BFA in Illustration. Since, she has had many single-woman shows, completed numerous commission works of art, and won the Favored Artist at the Eyes on Design Show in June, 2000 and 2001. A recent CPSA show entry won her an Honorable Mention for her 'Hot Blues' motorcycle piece.

She is a member of professional organizations such as The Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA) for which she is a signature member, along with the Allied Artists of America (AAA).
