Lubna Irfan

Lubna Irfan is a Melbourne-based visual artist and designer whose work is deeply rooted in spiritual reflection and emotional storytelling. With a background in communication design and over a decade of experience as a graphic designer and brand manager, Lubna bridges the worlds of fine art and visual communication with poetic sensitivity.

Her art draws inspiration from Sufi philosophy, Islamic calligraphy, and the quiet moments of divine connection experienced in everyday life. Frequent relocations throughout her life have created a deep yearning for a sense of home — a longing that she has found only in divine love. This inner search becomes the heart of her work.

Often working with acrylics and earthy textures, she explores themes of Ishq (divine love), resilience, and the sacred light found within pain. Each brushstroke reflects her personal journey through trials, transformation, and spiritual intimacy.

Lubna’s work invites the viewer into intimate spaces of silence and surrender, where the soul can breathe, burn, and glow.
