Since childhood, I have loved to draw. Having paper and pencils felt like the best way to occupy myself. Later, I realized that painting and drawing were as essential to me as breathing and living. With the help of a good teacher and great friend, I started painting with watercolors.

With watercolor, I felt like I had a piece of heaven in my hands. The pleasure I experienced when applying paint to paper, adding water, and seeing a picture emerge was immense. The beauty was overwhelming!

I began to see the world with new eyes and discovered a splendid world around me. I decided that I could easily paint my dreams, which was wonderful. I painted constantly, finding inspiration in everything—flowers, trees, landscapes. I used watercolors, colored pencils, and sometimes oil paints.

Now, in my eighties and retired, I have all the time in the world to do what I love. I have the freedom to choose what to paint and the best way to do so.

I am a very happy person and have come to realize that the world is a vibrant and beautiful place.
