RECOGNITION
My artworks tell stories of people who swim against the current, who are different and who do not bow to the norms that society sets for them. Maybe these people have suffered, experienced injustice, have been hurt, have been punished by others for being different - but these experiences make us who we are and make us stronger. The people in my artworks don't really exist, they are meticulously put together in advance from different parts on the computer, such as 'Frankenstein's Monster', and result in a template that is realized with acrylic paint or pencils and crayons.
