Luna Nguyen

I was born and raised in a small village of the Great Peace city in the North, Vietnam and in 2012 I have moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Since the early age I have been drawing, starting with basic pencil sketches then moving on to my main area of expression: painting. I have been experienced with many different canvases; be it paper, wood, using Acrylic or Oil paint and especially on colorful silk paintings.

I find that silk in particular is quite practical and imaginative to work with, and I have developed this technique by designing the mesmerizing Silk Art combining with an unique style of hand embroidery. Every single stitch carries along my Love and Passion for Art.

I understand the meaningful power of Life:” Art feeds our Souls and Languages can connect and change the world.” Because of that burning passion and influential belief, my Vision is to be an inspired Artist; and my Mission is to create an Art and Languages School for Homeless Children and Orphans, where their talents can be nurtured and expanded into creating handmade crafts, tailoring, designing; and other creative arts or languages of their choice.
