Macarena Trejo

My work propose involving art in a complex relation between sensation and thought, establishing a perfect equilibrium from which derives the aesthetic experience. It might be defined as a poetic approach to the interaction of form with light, in which the symbolic touch of gold and the imaginary forms extend the space at the same time as they distort it.

I use my spontanious thoughts and ideas, and perpetuate them through my canvases. The work is presented here as a point of depature for reflection on the possibilities afforded by the crative act, where feelings expands the horizons of reality and the representation of the impossible emerges as truth.

The emotions that evokes from creating my paintings are inspired on the freedom of the mind, where you enjoy a long ride without any specific end point. I spontaneity play with different materials and teqniques. The media that I prefer is acrylic on canvas.
