Magdalena Chmielek

Printmaker, painter, illustrator and teacher. All about nature, plants, flowers and some abstraction.

Born in 1992 in Cracow, Poland graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow as a Master of Arts in Graphic Design. Studied 1 semester in Toulouse and did practices in Lisbon and Warsaw. Currently working as a printmaker, illustrator and drawing and painting teacher in Krakowskie Szkoły Artystyczne. In the artistic work mainly focused on techniques like linocuts, woodcuts as well as illustrations, installations, photography and collages. Took part in collective exhibitions in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, France, Iceland, few auctions and art fairs and exhibited on 13 solo exhibitions. Magdalena loves nature, plants, flowers and gets inspired by that while creating art.
