Magdalena Magiera

She comes from a picturesque town in Kujawy, which is where her dreams
of creating beautiful enchanted things arised. She graduated there from the
Higher School of Art in Poznań, specializing in interior design. She studied for
Master’s degree at the Academy of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Industrial Form
Design with Phd Jadwiga Filipiak. Since that time she has been constantly
preoccupied with design and painting.
She currently lives in a picteresque village near Częstochowa, where she
found the courage and inspiration to begin her series Myland and
Hopeland.
Her painting work in the paintings she shows places where you feel
unconditional happiness, enjoy being here and now. It is also a state of
pleasure that you feel when you go back to the places you miss. These are
places that can only be yours, but they can also be shared as the most
unique treasure you possess.
The artist builds these worlds from simple and soft forms in which she
carefully composes scraps of her own life. At the same time, she does not
impose them to the viewer, but invites him to play and tell his story. The
