Mahdi Lamani

Mahdi is a self taught artist based in amman-jordan. Mahdi's practice spans three interconnected elements, styles: figurative abstraction influenced by cubism and expressionism, bold outsider art, and experimental hybrids that merge both worlds.
Since childhood, he has been fascinated by alternate ways the soul might appear, or how a character could feel and look in parallel universes. He also explores memory, painting different versions of places, emotions or scenes and portraits as they exist within the mind. or altered versions of vision.
His abstracted figures use fractured geometry and vivid contrasts to reflect identity and unseen dimensions, while his outsider-inspired works embody unfiltered creativity and instinct. Together, these approaches form a dynamic body of work that challenges perception and invites collectors into unseen realms of existence.
