Maksim Krapht(1995), a self-taught artist.
Memory has one interesting feature. We remember the faces of other people not in detail, as in the photo, but as an image that is formed from the characteristic traits of the person, facial expressions and mood. In fact, we remember not appearance, but subjective impression about it, for example a look or a smile.
But time dissolves memories, images become less clear and eventually forgotten.
In my works I try to visualize these images, memories, and show you the destructive influence of time.
We're alive while others remember us.
