How to best describe myself? Selective discoverer, painter of emotions perhaps. My perception of art has evolved over the years and so did my perception of the world. I can now consciously select what interests me most and no longer feel the need to seek for fancy themes. My work revolves around women and landscapes. For quite a while I have painted mainly female nudes – a theme present in art since the dawn of time, clichéd and risky. I have made an attempt to sail through the sea of banal and reinvent it my way, find my own form and lines. When painting female bodies and my surroundings I am always looking for a balance between expression, elegance and geometry. I'm trying to grasp a pure, geometrical expression of emotions. In my work expression of both form and colour constitute the core of the whole composition. Sometimes I think of my paintings as sculptures, defined by sharp line contours.
My goal is for my art to cause emotions rather than be a subject of interpretation. In our visually overloaded culture it is a huge success to make someone stop and feel something about an artwork.

Numerous exhibitions in Poland including galleries in Warsaw, as well as individual exhibitions in Nuremberg, Erlangen (Germany), Moscow (Russia) and Brussels (Belgium). My works are part of private collections in Germany, Russia, Sweden, Canada, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and US.
