I create poetic artworks on paper.
The endless source of inspiration for me, is the human being itselfe. With our weaknesses, vulnerabilities and also our feelings and needs for harmony.

I am constantly amazed by the human body, we are created for sensual experiences.
For me, connectedness and symbioses are very significant, they are recurring facets in my works! And because every person is different, each colour drawing has its own individual and spiritual touch. Another important element of each work are large watercolor stains that grow, cover, glow, press, and interact with the figures.
They live and flow while embodying the world of us deep inside.

My work process begins with the observation of how bodies and forms get in contact. I reflect why and how these contacts affect me. I try to abstract my feelings with colours and lines. Then I work from the outside to the inside. My sarting point is to draw colourful contours which act like membranes. Within these lines, I paint the essential core with fluid colours and flowing abstract shapes. This core describes a world of emotions which begins to expand. The core develops further, far beyond paper and the frame.
