Manoch Choorat

I was born in the highlands and am a person who is fascinated by everything around me, which is embraced and surrounded by nature. I am one of the creators of art from happiness, from a warm family, full of the taste of relationships that appear in nature from imagination, patterns from plants and animals that have hidden meanings. My journey from home to society and the art world in the university has the chaos of urban society, such as traffic congestion, water pollution, air, etc., which are completely different from my hometown. I recorded the essence of life in the forest from my grandfather's background as a hunter, an important person during the time he was still alive. His way of life depended on the natural forest. So I learned about the stories of the local rural way of life since I was 12-18 years old. I learned about the way of life from my grandfather. The forest is like a home, a shelter, and a school for me to learn and grow. Recording nature, creating various forms, is like recording stories and memories of the past. It creates the morale to bring peace to my life and mind, giving me strength and the drive to fight in life in the present.
