Manolo Jurdao Valderrama was born in Barcelona. In 1974 his family moved to Malaga. He studies at the Malaga School of Arts and Crafts.
He shows his work to the public for the first time in a group exhibition that takes place at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, in 1980.
In 1993, together with other painters, he formed the Obelisco Group, which carried out, among others, the artistic activity "Art on the street", in the Plaza de la Merced in Malaga, in front of Picasso's birthplace.
In 1998 the Espacio Tres collective was created, of which he is a founding member along with Antonio Casares Palma. The collective develops as a project the management of its own exhibition hall by the artists.
During the years 1999 and 2000 he participated, with his work, in the artistic decoration of the television series "Plaza alta" and later in that of "Arrayán" during the 2001 to 2005 seasons, both of Canal Sur Televisión.
In 2001, he obtained the first prize at the Picasso Contest, from the Mecenas gallery in Malaga.
Since 2003 he has participated in the DIN A-4 project, consisting of a traveling exhibition of works by various artists in cities of the European community, which would later be extended to other countries. Thi...
