Marc Loret

I'm a French photographer from Brittany, I live in Rennes which is a youthful and vibrant city. I love to travel and I had the chance to live in Ireland, Spain and England. Photography has always fascinated me, it definitely changes the way you look at the world around you. And I'm a nature lover so I can enjoy two things at the same time. I've always been intrigued by Nature, so many tiny miracles everywhere! I could look at trees or flowers for hours, I try to transcribe the way it appears to me in my work. The research with watercolors mixed in my Nature photographs directly inspired me to create those cities and seaside series.

I trained in Science and Environment back before I knew what I wanted to do with my life, I'm now a self-taught photographer. When I fell in love with photography 10 years ago, I wanted to find my own voice and started experimenting with photography and watercolor so I could create these subtle and melancholic pictures.
