Marco Donati

I am a self-taught abstract artist based in Livorno, Italy. 
Since I was a child I developed a natural sensitivity and predisposition for drawing and writing learning to do it on my grandfather’s knees.
I approached painting in 2019 at the end of an artistic process that saw me grow up with drawing, words, music, photography and computer graphics before holding acrylic colors, palette knives and brushes.
My painting style is dynamic and is purely instinctive: sometimes it is reasoned and accurate, but most of the time it is furious and raw. In addition to painting abstract art on canvas, I continue to experiment and also do digital graphic projects. 
Having participated in several collaborative projects and exhibitions across Italy and abroad, I have developed my unique conception of art with abstractionism as the mainstay of my art style.
I am trying to bring out my inner world; a world that I have buried deep inside me for as long as I can remember, but in the end it always finds a way to come out and take shape. I decided to sign my works as "MD2019" to pay homage to the year I started this new adventure.

2021 - Exhibition for the A.I.R.P. (Italian Association for Research in Piscosomatics) where he also collaborates with some graphic projects.

2021 - Exhibition at Muses Art Gallery in Golfo Aranci (SS) with 5 works.

2021 - Participation in the collective exhibition "Amor mi disse: quell'è primavera" at the Bunker of the Palladian Complex of Villa Caldogno, Caldogno (VI) with 3 works. The works receive criticism from the Art Master Giordano Giampaolo.

2021 - Permanent exhibition in the virtual gallery "Art Disclosure Gallery" with 3 works.

2021 - Exhibition at the collective exhibition "Are You Ready?" in Palazzo Ducale, Genoa with 1 work. The exhibition is organized by the curator Loredana Trestin, Divulgarti group.

2021 - Virtual Exhibition "Isabella D’Este Award" at the Art Expo in Ferrara curated by PitturiAmo and ArtNow with 1 work. The exhibition sees the participation of the well-known art critic Vittorio Sgarbi who will examine each work.

2022 - Exhibition at the international award "Maestri a Milano" whit the participation of Angelo Crespi and José Van Roy Dalì at the historic Manzoni Theater in Milan.
