Vecchiato's creativity is a conflict that takes place in an “intellectual” space, dialetical,
that is why he has sought hand to hand combat with umanities. From poetry (Vacuum –
antologia poetica, 2010; Unter den Linden & Wayne, 2014) to art-history. The graduation
in literature will be just an excuse for to be researcher of art history. From 2012 the
painting reaches the center by replacing writing although, he said “make paint is a
metaphysical thing, more dengerous itself poetry”.

La creatività per Vecchiato è un conflitto che avviene in una dimensione “intellettuale”,
dialettica, per questo egli ha sempre cercato il corpo a corpo con le discipline
umanistiche. Dalla poesia (Vacuum – antologia poetica, 2010; Unter den Linden &
Wayne, 2014) alla storia dell’arte. La laurea in lettere sarà solo il pretesto per svolgere
per quasi un decennio attività di libero ricercatore in storia dell’arte. Nel 2012 la pittura
trova definitivamente la sua centralità sostituendo la scrittura anche se, come afferma
l’artista: “la scelta di fare pittura è una faccenda metafisica, più rischiosa della poesia
stessa”.
