A bi-handed artist drawing simultaneously with both hands I came to sculpture, sgraffito, etching, and dry point print making to experiment with scale and replication. Inspiration is drawn directly from Rodin and Beuys who was notably inspired by Rodin, each compelled by the weightless drift of women’s thighs. I grew up observing and drawing horses with both hands, a passion that continually grows. I am a sculptor and sgraffito artist with a passion for drawing in all media. I has an MA Writing from the RCA and is a student of Fine Art on the RCA Graduate Diploma program.
Recent exhibitions include Verona, Italy, (Special Jury Mention), Thrown Contemporary Winter Exhibition, Chelsea Art Society and preselected for upcoming Green and Stone Summer Exhibition 2022.
MA Writing (Royal College of Art)
MA English & Creative Writing (Poetry & Performance)
BA & MPhil (Research) Philosophy
My sculptures have exhibited at the Mall Galleries (Equestrian Sculpture, 2010) and oil paintings in Notting Hill’s (Blenheim Gallery, 1990). My paintings also appeared in ARTisSpectrum (Agora Gallery, NY) and in 2001 I led a philanthropic art project (Children in Crisis) in the remotest nomad region of the Tibetan Plateau. The sculptures, paintings, and photograph by the nomad children exhibited in London’s Spitalfields Gallery and The Café Royal in 2002. My artwork is owned by collectors in New York, UK, and France. I am a finalist in the International Equestrian Art&Cavallo Competition, exhibiting ‘Spirit of the Herd’ (5 artworks) in Verona, Italy in November 2021. Also in 73rd The Chelsea Art Society Exhibition in London, 2022, and currently pre-selected for the Green and Stone Summer Exhibition, London 2022.
