Maria Coviello

My name is Maria, I draw and paint with watercolor.
I was born in Florence, I live in Pisa and a little bit also in Estoul, a small mountain village at 1800 meters in the Aosta Valley.
I love to walk, and I like to do it in Art, Nature and Spirituality.
Walking, in all three senses, for me is contemplation and immense bliss.

I walk in Art thanks to watercolor, which possesses lightness, transparency and infinite shades of color.
I love its unpredictability and, at the same time, its reliability.
He accompanies me wherever I go and with him I can paint long stories, small enchantments, silent suggestions.

In Nature I walk thanks to the Mountain, which welcomed me in its heights and infinite spaces; and thanks to the woods, where I enter silence, beauty, and find the way.

In Spirituality I walk thanks to those who guide and accompany me, inside and outside of me.

My works are born from my life and my breath.
They are heartbeats, tears, leaps of joy.
They are moments of peace, of discoveries, of enchanted gazes.
They are dreams and reverie.
They are contemplation, prayer, thanksgiving.

I graduated from classical high school, which taught me the beauty of culture, from the International School of Comics in Florence, where I learned the beauty of storytelling, and I became an art therapist at the C.R.E.T.E. of Florence, which opened a new and splendid path for me in the path of free artistic expression as a vital and healing energy.
