George Costea

Firstly it is all about the subject matter like composition, man as aesthetic existence in that dimension required by art, but it is mostly about the evolution of the subject undergoing pictorial processing. For the contemporary artist, the change is compulsory, easily adaptable to his personal style. George Costea is an independent contemporary artist. He said "Without inspiration, something that comes from outside the consciousness of the artist, an artwork becomes hardly mediocre. I dream, read, hear, think, feel, see and start painting." The subjects of his paintings, including nature, buildings and ladies. We have our dark sides, and light, parts of ourselves that we show, and others we hide within. Together, this combination creates the beauty of who we are. His subject matters do not need flash impression, as the approach is clear and the message is realistic and expressive.
