Mariano Gigli

Mariano Gigli is a hyperrealist artist born in Rome in 1975. After his bachelor's degree, today he's a marketing manager and artist, as well as he involved with photography. Basing his works start on photographs and he brings them to a new form of life on canvas. His mania for details shows how photography and graphics create paintings that are almost identical to pictures. In his recent works we have Alberto Sordi, Vittorio De Sica, Marilyn Monroe, Laura Antonelli, Italo Zngarelli. Awarded in June 2003 for a design/photo's project by Ugo Nespolo, recently he was a guest in a London's gallery and in Montecarlo.
